Plugins and extensions

The Open eLearning Library has very powerful educational objects that are sufficient for most projects.
However to optimize your educational creations it may be useful to create your own objects.

Open eLearning offers you the opportunity to create your own objects thanks to plugins.

The prerequisites are:

First of all, check if the plug-in exists in our database (it does not bother to create a plug-in if it already exists), if it does not exist: check if a plug-in is close to yours, so limit your work.
Then you will need to know the Javascript and CSS. Having practiced it by having created programs or applications is a plus, because you will know how to organize your code.

If you don’t know Javascript, you can find tutorials on https://javascript.info , they are generally good, but they don’t teach you all (enumerations, for example).

In addition, I recommend the Visual Studio Code - Code Editing working environment. I really recommend it, because it’s very simple to use.
